Volunteers Wanted

St. Mary Parish wants you to become a more committed and active member of our Parish. We need volunteers for several Liturgical Ministries.

Lectors: proclaim the Readings at each of the Masses and lead our Prayers of the Faithful.

Eucharistic Ministers: assist with the distribution of Communion at Mass.

In order to serve as a Lector or a Eucharistic Minister, a parishioner needs to be a Catholic who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation, complete the volunteer form, attend a one-time session of Protecting God's Children and agree to complete a CORI form required each year for the Archdiocese of Boston.

All volunteers receive training, instructions and support for their role (s), and will be able to select which Mass or Masses they prefer to serve and the regularity scheduled.

If your parish group or organization would like to place a notice in the bulletin

We must receive it via email by 1:00pm Thursday 10 days before the Sunday you would like it published.

If your organization is planning to use any parish facilities

Such as the church, church hall, rectory, or school for your meetings, events, etc., it is very important that you call and reserve the time and place that you need. This is the only way that you can be sure of having your activity at the desired location.
