St. Mary Cemetery
St. Mary Cemetery is located at 175 Beaver Street in Franklin, Massachusetts and offers a variety of traditional Catholic burial options for those looking to bury a deceased loved one in Franklin. The Town of Franklin approved the Cemetery land on November 8, 1864 and on July 29, 1865, Mary Tobin was the first person to be interred in the Cemetery.
There are approximately 10,000 plots that are in use in the Cemetery with plenty of room for expansion. We are currently selling plots both in Section 9 and niches in our Garden of Remembrance and they can be shown by appointment with our Cemetery Superintendent, Joseph Spencer. If you would like to make an appointment with him, call the rectory Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 508-528-0020 and we will provide you with his contact information. The rectory office is not open on weekends, holydays or holidays.
