Protecting God’s Children

Protecting God’s Children® for Adults is a program designed to help members of the Catholic community create safe environments for our children and vulnerable adults. It is our sincere belief that all people deserve to be treated with dignity as well as to live and learn in an environment that is free from abuse. This program, which consists of videos, group discussion and specific safety recommendations, helps us to put our beliefs into action. Protecting God’s Children® for Adults is open to all St. Mary’s parishioners and is mandatory for many of our parish ministers and volunteers.

This program will be offered here in our parish on Sun, Sep 13 at 1:00-4:00pm and Wed, Sep 16 at 6:00-9:00pm in the school modular building; you need only attend ONE session and you can attend anywhere in the Archdiocese.

  • Choose Boston, MA (Archdiocese) as your organization in order to see a list of the available sessions.

If your parish group or organization would like to place a notice in the bulletin

We must receive it via email by 1:00pm Thursday 10 days before the Sunday you would like it published.

If your organization is planning to use any parish facilities

Such as the church, church hall, rectory, or school for your meetings, events, etc., it is very important that you call and reserve the time and place that you need. This is the only way that you can be sure of having your activity at the desired location.
