WALK DETAILS

  • Registration is on the Town Common starting at 8:30am Or participants can pre-register online at the St. Mary’s SVdP Web page:  https://www.fopwalk.org/eventlisting/eventdetail/?eventid=2895
  • Collect donations from family and friends and turn in at registration desk.
  • Blessing for the walk will be at 9:00am on the Town Common in front of St. Mary’s. Walkers may start anytime between 9:00am-11:00am
  • Free t-shirts for all walk participants.
  • Walking route will be around the Town Common. One time around the Common is 1/3 of a mile.
  • Community service hours can be earned by volunteering and/or walk participation.
  • Water will be provided for all participants.

This past year we were able to help 392 families. On the weekends of Sep 16/17 and Sep 23/24, there will be donation envelopes distributed at all of the Masses for this year’s Friends of the Poor Walk. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.

Such as the church, church hall, rectory, or school for your meetings, events, etc., it is very important that you call and reserve the time and place that you need. This is the only way that you can be sure of having your activity at the desired location.
