Marriage Prep Team

Organized twice a year, in the fall and the spring, the engaged couples’ workshop seeks to prepare couples for a life-long commitment/covenant by reflecting on the importance of marriage from a multi-dimensional perspective. During the program, a variety of topics is presented by team couples, followed by couple-centered discussions. It provides a wonderful opportunity for couples to discover aspects of their lives which they may not have discussed. Members of the parish who would like to assist with this program are encouraged to give the coordinators a call. There is a great deal of organization required for a program of this size, from preparing food to providing prayers. Examples of activities or ministry’s work: Team couples make presentations to couples and answer questions of engaged couples during panel discussions. Some team couples prefer to just do the panel discussions.

Time commitment for a member: Very flexible—anywhere from 1-2 hours per year to entire 12-hour session twice per year
