Cheer for Champions Donation Drive: Cheer for Champions is a community service project aimed at supporting and encouraging kids who are going through an extended recovery and/or inpatient stay at Mass General Hospital for Children. We hope to create gift baskets for these kids to cheer them up and on during recovery. Cheer for Champions will be running a donation drive for items Nov 15-Jan 15. Donation bin locations can be found at both the main and side entrances of St. Mary’s Church, the main office at Franklin High School, and the Franklin YMCA (starting December 10th).

Pieta, a support group for bereaved parents who have suffered a loss of a child at any age, will be holding their 35th Annual Lighting Service on Sun, Nov 25 at 2:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond St., Walpole MA. Parents who have lost a child will come together in prayer, song and support as we light a candle in memory of each child. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Senior Luncheon - Sponsored by the Bellingham and Franklin Lions Clubs, will take place on Sat, Dec 1. This free Luncheon is for all senior citizens of Bellingham and Franklin. The Senior Luncheon will be held at the Bellingham Senior Center, 40 Blackstone Street in the Town of Bellingham. There will be two sittings, one at 11:00am and another at 1:00pm. Since space is limited, all senior citizens should call or sign up at the Bellingham or Franklin Senior Centers to reserve their place at the Senior Luncheon.
St. Joseph Parish, Medway: 41st Annual Christmas Marketplace and Bake Shoppe: Sat, Nov 17, 9:00am-3:00pm at the St. Joseph Parish Center, 145 Holliston St., Medway.
