St. Mary Eucharistic Adoration Committee
We strive to promote devotion to the Holy Eucharist beyond Mass, by visiting the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. We enlist parishioners to commit to one hour on the First Friday of each month to sit with our Lord. Eucharistic Adoration opens after the 7 a.m. Mass and closes with Benediction at 2:45 p.m. We believe by spending this peaceful time with our Lord, that our families, our parish, our country, and the world will benefit. Many believe this devotion is the answer to increasing vocations to the priesthood. We pray for this and for respect for all stages of life and for our personal petitions.
NOTE: Confessions will be heard 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.

Examples of activities or ministry’s work: Two members alternate as captains each month and are responsible for signing up at least two parishioners for each hour, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., to sit with Our Lord while Holy Eucharist is exposed in the Monstrance. A list of interested devotees with phone numbers is available.
Time commitment for a member: Members do a holy hour on the First Friday. If captain, obtain coverage as needed if any vacancies on the Sign Up sheet, which is on the bulletin board next to the rear-side entrance.
