Renovations of the Lower Church:

Because of the generous donation of the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Council, Franklin, we are able to launch Phase I of our renovations of the lower Church. Our Parish has been hampered by the lack of meeting space, small rooms and large for our Parish activities. The generous grant by the Knights allows us to create chapel in the lower Church and also a large meeting space with a mid-size room, and two smaller meeting rooms.

A special lift ( platform based) will also be included in this work. This creation of space for our Parish life hopefully is a beginning of making the space suitable for our activities. This Phase I is barebones, but it will greatly enhance our Parish Life.

During this construction, we will be closing the lower Church. It always takes longer than anyone thinks, but we hope that all of the work will be completed in less than 3 months. It appears that we will be able to resume the use of the “new” chapel area sooner than the meeting space.
